Lucien LaForêt is a writer whose work is shaped by keen observation, reflection, and a lifelong interest in human behavior. Born in Paris, France, he later immigrated to Quebec, Canada and eventually moved to the west coast of British Columbia. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English.

Over the past five decades, LaForêt has written papers and articles, exploring politics, philosophy, scientific theories, travel, unfamiliar ethnicity, religion and culture in Western countries and the study of numerology. His writing reflects a mind drawn to answering difficult questions, to hidden patterns, and to forces that shape human lives.
